I’m just finding out that God transitioned my great friend Sabrina Morgan! Heartbroken, my CTK family!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light,”
Matthew 11: 28-30, New International Version.
Born on Good Friday, June 2nd, 1967, the late Sabrina Morgan Johnson grew up loving Jesus Christ and became a faithful and dutiful member of Christ The King Baptist Church Praise Ensemble. Not only did she serve Christ in the church, but outside of the church, she also served others while working for the Milwaukee Center for Independence as a Home Care Provider and in other previous jobs. Working in church and outside of the church was easy for Sabrina. In doing all of that, she also catered to her loving husband, Calvin Johnson. Sadly, at the age of 56, she was laid to rest on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023. Her sudden death was a surprise to all because she cared for so many people.
“I love and miss you dearly, ma. Cooking your favorite food yesterday made me sad. I miss our talks and our laughs, but the one thing I will miss the most is you loving me the way you did. Thank you so much for treating me as one of your own. I love you so much. Thank you for the wonderful memories we shared. Rest peacefully, beautiful. I love you,”
Jesabel Jazzy Llaurador

Sabrina and I sang in the Praise Ensemble. In the front row, I’m wearing a turquoise jacket, and she’s standing before me. When I was taking the bus to work, Sabrina saw me, asked where I was going, and gave me a ride. She didn’t ask for gas money but willingly took me to my destination. I remember just started teaching, so I was still determining the school. I said, “Andrew Douglas,” and she said, “The old Parkman.” I said, “Sure.” I didn’t know, but she knew, so I was okay. Sabrina was intelligent and caring, and I will never forget her as helpful.

“It is hard to say goodbye to my friend of over 40 years!!! I am so thankful that I got to see you this time last year when I was home for my mom’s retirement celebration. I had no idea that would be my last time seeing you. I love you so much, and I will miss you dearly!!!”
