Christmas Day Celebration: A Global Uniting Tradition

As the day draws to a close, families and friends wrap up their celebrations, filled with the warmth of shared meals, exchanged gifts, and cherished moments. Some have retired to bed, their hearts full of the season’s joy. In all these moments, the spirit of Jesus Christ is alive and well. May one’s Christmas Eve be filled with Blessings and light, and may all always remember that Jesus is the Heart of the Season.

The Birth of Jesus Christ

Isaiah 7:14

“The Lord will give a sign: a virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call him Immanuel.”

Luke 1:28-42

New International Version

28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

Matthew 1:18-25

“Joseph takes his wife and knows her not until she has given birth to a son, and he calls his name Jesus.”

The shepherds returned, their hearts filled with reverence and awe, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen.

Luke 2:20

Isaiah 11:1-5 contains a prophecy about the second coming of Jesus, which highlights his character and the hope he brings. This prophecy is a reminder of the spiritual significance of Christmas, and it encourages us to reflect on the teachings of Jesus and the promise of his return.
