Ginuwine's Queen News Release

Christ The King Baptist Church Annual Church Meeting by Pastor John Wesley McVicker, Sr.

Our church community is not just a gathering of individuals but a source of immense strength and support. Pastor John Wesley McVicker, Sr., emphasized that each member is not just a part, but a vital and integral part of this community. As the saying goes, ‘Many hands make work light,‘ and your presence and participation make our community stronger.

Perceptive: Doubting Thomas missed the presence of Jesus Christ. The disciples knew where he was.

“We need to intervene,” added Pastor John Wesley McVicker, Sr. This could mean reaching out to those absent, inviting them to church events, or checking their well-being. “There must be some intervention on our part.”

Pastor McVicker added, “Before the letters, ‘Where are you?’ Andrew and Deacon Ministry, dedicated to serving the church community, can make cold calls to inquire about members’ whereabouts. Their role is crucial, and it’s a testament to the care and connection we strive to maintain. They ensure no member is left behind, and everyone feels connected and cared for.”

As I recall, one of my college mentors used to say, ‘Never miss a Study Session.’ This advice is not just a suggestion but a guiding principle that can help all members stay connected, grow in faith, and feel guided and supported in their spiritual journey.

Christians should prioritize attending church services, only missing them if they are ill. When it comes to church meetings, all should strive never to miss them, as they are vital for their spiritual growth and the strength of the community.
